For a mindful, energising start, try morning beach yoga sessions or a wellness experience at one of the spa hotels to get the perfect balance of calm and focus.

For a more exhilarating way to start your day, you could spend your morning surfing, Paddle boarding, kayaking or taking a coastal tour to really get the adrenalin pumping.

After your meeting Scarborough

When the workday is done, Scarborough offers an exciting mix of cultural and activity-based options ideal for socialising with colleagues or simply to unwind after a busy day.

Soak up some coastal culture at the Stephen Joseph Theatrean independent theatre and cinema. A cultural icon in the town, the venue has a famous theatre-in-the-round, hosts world‑class productions and exudes a creative atmosphere.

The North Yorkshire Water Park, located just outside of Scarborough, is a brilliant option for team building or for colleagues to try something new away from the office environment. Here you can try paddleboarding, wakeboarding, zip lining, escape and puzzle rooms as well as a giant inflatable obstacle course.

To enjoy some incredible coastal views you can pay a visit to Scarborough Castle, where you can explore the castle’s 3000 years of turbulent history and enjoy dramatic clifftop views.

To end your day

We all know a visit to the seaside, whether it is for business or pleasure isn’t complete without tasting the local fish and chips.

Scarborough has plenty of choice, whether you fancy sitting in, or grabbing a takeaway to enjoy with a sea view. Scarborough’s food & drink scene isn’t all just fish and chips, you will also find restaurants serving freshly caught seafood from the North Sea, traditional pubs offering British classics and cosy cafés where you can delight in homemade treats, perfect for unwinding with colleagues after a productive day.
