Scarborough Rugby Union Football Club, set in 32 acres of North Yorkshire countryside is situated in the village of Scalby. Alongside rugby union, the Club boasts a Barons Fitness, public gym open to the public 7 days a week, as Hartley's Cafe-Bar.

The J. M. Guthrie Clubhouse is the perfect venue for holding your conference, meeting, exhibition, lecture, presentation, Funeral, Christening, Wedding or even team building day.

We have two conference and meeting rooms to choose from, as well as 300 on-site car parking spaces for delegates.

All attendees can also benefit from free use of our impressive gym facility on the day of the business event. We offer a range of meeting rooms, from small one-on-one settings through to theatre style presentations for up to 200 delegates.

We offer an excellent location with first-class facilities for all types of functions and parties. Whether you’re looking to celebrate a birthday, organise a dinner or just want a party with your friends, the J. M. Guthrie Clubhouse has something for every occasion.

Our function rooms boast spectacular views of the North Yorkshire coast, and each room benefits from a private bar, under-floor heating and air-conditioning.

The Qdos Suite and Sponsors Lounge can hold up to 150 and 50 people respectively. For large functions we can combine the two rooms into one for a maximum occupancy of 190.*

We have a range of menus to cater for all types of events, from simple finger buffets through to bespoke banquets, where you can pick and choose your courses to make your event unique.
