About Normanby Room at Whitby Museum

A modern lecture and meeting room within Whitby Museum and the beautiful surroundings of Pannett Park. Hire is available during business hours of the museum from 10am-4:30pm Tuesday to Sunday.

Access Information

Accessible toilets are available within the museum on the lower ground and first floors - a lift allows access to all floors. The museum accessible entrance is at the rear of the building. There is level access throughout the museum. Accessible parking is available to those who need it in our small car park, please advise us on booking so we can reserve places for those who need it.

Presentation Facilities

A projector and screen is available for use. A laptop can be provided for presentations to run from USB memory stick. An adaptor allows connections from most types of device.

Catering

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in a small kitchen within the room, hirers must provide their own tea/coffee/milk etc. If you require lunch provision arrangements can be made separately with our onsite café: Flock Kitchen & Coffee.

Parking

There is no general parking available at the museum, West Cliff Car Park is the nearest or the museum is served by the Park and Ride during the main summer season. . There is a small car park to the rear with accessible parking spaces which it is advisable to reserve if required.
