About The Green Howards Museum

The Green Howards Museum tells the story of the regiment throughout it’s 300 years history. From it’s founding in 1688 to amalgamation to the Royal Yorkshire Regiment in 2006.

Spread across 3 floors, explore personal stories and interact with captivating displays which form part of our historical meeting space, our Normanby Room. History, Herosim, Heritage. What better setting for an event.

The Normanby Room meeting and event space proudly boasts Mouseman furniture which only adds to the prestigious surroundings. Whilst the event space may be steeped in history the Green Howards Museum is fully equipped with modern projectors, screen and full WIFI capability for multiple users throughout the building.

The Normanby Room is also a stand out facility for talks, presentations, buffets, products launches and formal dinners. Your guests can soak up the historical atmosphere and marvel at the extensive showcase of uniforms, Regimental silver and other artefacts during their time with us.

Additional guided tours, historical talks and bespoke packages can be arranged to make the most of your time at The Green Howards Museum.
