The Great Yorkshire Event Centre

The Great Yorkshire Events Centre is an award-winning venue on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, comprising of The Halls, The Pavilions and The Grounds.

The Pavilions has 13 rooms and is suitable for up to 450 delegates. It can host a wide variety of events, from conferences and meetings to award dinners and weddings and so much more. Meanwhile, for events requiring more space for over 450 delegates, the Halls is the perfect location regularly hosting trade fairs, gala dinners, exhibitions and even an indoor funfair!

Profits generated from events at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre fund the charitable work of our registered charity, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, which supports and promotes agriculture and rural industries across Yorkshire and the North of England.

Versatile Event Spaces 

The Great Yorkshire Events Centre has incredibly versatile spaces suitable for a wide range of events. All the rooms at The Pavilions are pillar free and Hall 1 is also one of the largest pillar free spaces in the North of England. The Wharfe and Calder Rooms at The Pavilions have vehicular access whilst The Grounds boast 6km of internal roads – perfect for automotive events. We pride ourselves on accessibility with disabled parking, level access throughout and a Changing Places Facility situated in Hall 2.

Visitors can benefit from thousands of complimentary car parking spaces and several EV charging points located across our site.

Our prime location on the Great Yorkshire Showground means we have 250 acres of green space which can be used for outdoor events, team building events and wellbeing sessions.

 Food  

The Great Yorkshire Events Centre is proud to work with award-winning caterers, Kings Catering Company who are based at The Pavilions and CGC Event Caterers at The Halls. They have many years of experience in events catering using local produce where possible and supporting local suppliers. We understand that every event is different and offer a variety of catering options including buffets, BBQs, 3-course dinners and bespoke packages. We work with you to provide you with the finest catering for your event.
