The Golden Lion Hotel is the perfect venue choice for every corporate event.  With our 3 meetings rooms, we can accommodate from the smallest, intimate meeting of 2 to the largest, extravagant meeting of 300.

Along with 27 Bedrooms, Wifi access and an excellent selection of menus.

Superbly located in the town centre of Northallerton, a traditional market town, full of character set in the heart of North Yorkshire.  The hotel is conveniently located between the A1 and A19.  With easy access to our car park situated at the rear of the hotel.

Conference Rooms

Swaledale 

Located in the main hotel on the first floor, this room is perfect for interviews and smaller meetings.

Mowbray Suite 

Ideally located across the courtyard on the ground floor, complete with its own washroom facilities.  With its warm entrance, this suite is perfect for all conference styles, with its amazing versatility.

Yorkshire Suite

This is the largest of our four rooms, with its high ceiling, and four magnificent chandeliers, this is truly a statement suite.  It is situated at the rear of the hotel, beside our large car park to enable easy access. The Yorkshire Suite is ideal for large-scale events and conferences.

Conservatory

With its glass ceiling allowing floods of natural light, The Conservatory is perfect for a breakout or separate refreshment/buffet room. Situated between The Yorkshire Suite and The Mowbray Suite.

By Road 

Northallerton is well connected by road, with major roads such as the A1 motorway and A19 only 15 minutes away. The Golden Lion Hotel has its own car park situated at the rear of the hotel.

By Rail 

Northallerton Railway Station is on the east coast main London to Edinburgh line, situated approximately 7 minutes walk from the hotel.
