Bentham Golf Course

Bentham Golf Course is a picturesque, family-run 18 hole course in an area of the Yorkshire Dales famous for its dramatic scenery.

With a backdrop of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Forest of Bowland and Lake District hills to the west, stunning panoramic views from the course are a welcome reward for any players who find the rolling course challenging! The course itself is a challenging 6,000 yard lay out making it playable for all. With quirky holes making the most of the local scenery and undulations of the land the course has a growing reputation as it has started hosting county matches.

Onsite there is accommodation through our glamping pods and lodges which provide a perfect base to enjoy the course or local scenery. The pods are luxury glamping with an ensuite bathroom, small kitchenette and stunning view up to Ingleborough and surrounding fells. We have 11 pods, with 5 perched by the 10th tee looking up to Ingleborough and a further 6 placed around a pond between the 9th and 11th greens. We also have 3 self-catering rental lodges perfect for longer stays and larger groups. Between all accommodation and two self-catered holiday cottages we also have, there is capacity for up to 52 guests.

There is also 1922 Bar and Kitchen our inhouse restaurant that provides food and rooms available for function rooms. 1922 serves coffee and cakes and is open all week. During the summer we offer food 5 days of the week and we reduce to a more limited offer over winter. The room itself is perfectly suited for functions and have experience in hosting events from birthday parties, educational events, prizes giving’s and even weddings. We also have two meeting rooms available on site alongside the main room in the clubhouse. Alongside the main room 1922 has a large patio with elevated views over the 18th green and up to Ingleborough. One of these is located just around the corner from the clubhouse and is perfect for smaller meetings and community groups. The other is our halfway house situated in the middle of the golf course which is suited to groups up to 10 for something a bit different.

Beyond the above there is an 8 bay driving range and indoor golf simulator giving something to do if the Yorkshire weather doesn’t play ball. We have an onsite PGA Pro who can provide individual lessons, group lessons and even come up with some games for groups to play.
